How To Distinguish The Good And Bad Of The Exterior Wall Insulation Material May 09, 2017

With the rapid development of the construction industry, external wall insulation materials are constantly upgrading, in the face of all kinds of external wall insulation materials market, how do we choose to change? How to distinguish the exterior wall insulation material from good or bad?

1, raw material factors

Thin plastering exterior insulation is adhesive layer of polymer mortar, insulation layer, strengthening attachment, alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh, anchoring parts, bracket, angle of protection. Polymer insulation Mortar is a key technical material.

2. Environmental factors

According to the local climatic conditions, choose a safe and reliable, stable insulation system, do not use substandard insulation materials and different brands of external wall insulation materials to ease the use.

3, moisture content

All external wall insulation materials have porous structure, easy to absorb moisture. When moisture content is greater than 5%~10%, the moisture absorption of the material is occupied by the air-filled part of the pore space, which causes the effective thermal conductivity to increase markedly.

4, Bulk density

The bulk density is a direct reflection of the material porosity, because the thermal conductivity of the gas phase is usually less than the solid thermal conductivity, so the insulation material has a large porosity that is very small bulk density. In general, increasing the porosity or decreasing the bulk density will result in a decrease in the thermal conductivity.
